தலைவனின் தொண்டர்கள் (தொண்டர்களின் தலைவன்)

முன்குறிப்பு: முதல்வன் படத்தின் தாக்கம், கொஞ்ச நாளாகவே மனதில் இருந்த கேள்விகளின் "synopsis" தான் இந்த கற்பனை interview. (தயவு செய்து பின் குறிப்பையும் படிக்கவும்)

அர்ஜுன் என்பவர் ஒரு துடிப்பான இளைஞர்; நடைமுறையாளர்; journalism பயின்று ஒரு தமிழ் TV சேனலில் நிருபராக வேலை பார்ப்பவர். அவர் நாடெங்கும் போற்றப்படும் "கீர்த்திபூஷன்" என்ற ஒரு "spiritual" குருவை பேட்டி காண்பதே இந்த கற்பனை blog! "அர்ஜுன் : " "கீர்த்தி : " என்று எழுதி உங்களை அவமதிக்க மாட்டேன்.

பேட்டி தொடங்குகிறது

வணக்கம்!

அன்பு! எங்கள் குடும்பத்தினர் அனைவரும் "அன்பு" என்று தான் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் வாழ்த்துவோம், வணங்குவோம். Good morning, good afternoon, good night எல்லாம் கிடையாது! நாங்கள் எல்லோரும் அன்பை ஆதாரமாக கொண்டவர்கள். 

நல்ல விஷயம் தான். ஆனா அது ஒரு "compulsory rule" ஆக செயல்படுத்த வேண்டுமா? Good morning, hi, வணக்கம் சொல்பவர்கள் சொல்லட்டுமே! அவர்கள் அன்பற்றவர்களா?

நாங்கள் யாரையும் வற்புறுத்துவது இல்லை? இது நல்ல பழக்கம் என்று சொல்கிறோம், அவ்வளவு தான்! It is an expression of love, a reminder to love and being loved! Why should not we say so?

இது ஒருஅடையாள குறியா? Is it a way of marketing your organisation? Position your group distinctly? அன்பு என்று வாழ்த்துபவர்கள் உங்கள் நிறுவனத்தை சேர்ந்தவர்கள் என்று உலகத்திற்கு சொல்வதற்கா? 

நாங்கள் அப்படி "marketing" செய்ய வேண்டும் என்ற அவசியம் இல்லை; எங்கள் செயல்களும் வாழ்க்கை முறையும்  போதுமே? People will distinctly notice our lifestyle and happiness! We dont need a signboard for it! We dont need a "catch word" or a slogan"!

But the fact is that you do have a slogan! In fact, every follower of your organisation has to chant the same before he starts his day!

Its not a slogan, its an expression of gratitude to the almighty! தினம் நாங்கள் கடவுளுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும் ஒரு வழிமுறை!

Isn't gratitude an emotion? And people are entitled to emote as they wish, right? Why is it being forced upon every individual? I may close my eyes and say a quick 'thanks' to the almighty! Why isn't that enough?

In today's hustle and bustle, we may forget doing so. It makes a good habit to express our gratitude, isnt it? கடவுளுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துவது தவறு என்று சொல்லும் நிருபரை இப்பொழுது தான் சந்திக்கிறேன்.

என் கேள்வி கடவுளை பற்றியோ, நன்றி செலுத்துவதை பற்றியோ அல்ல! நீங்கள் ஏன் வழிமுறையை போதிக்க வேண்டும்? அவரவர் அவரவர் வழியில் நன்றி செலுத்தும் சுதந்திரத்தை பற்றி.......(கொஞ்சம் மௌனம்). உங்கள் பெற்றோர் உங்களுக்கு "கீர்த்திபூஷன்" என்று தான் பெயர் வைத்தார்களா?

என் பெற்றோர்கள் எனக்கு கிருஷ்ணன் என்று தான் பெயர் வைத்தார்கள். என் அன்பிற்கு உரிய குடும்பத்தினர்களால் "கீர்த்திபூஷன்"ஆனேன்.

அதாவது உங்கள் சீடர்கள்? தொண்டர்கள்? மாணவர்கள்? உங்கள் "followers" எப்படி சொல்வது என்று தெரியவில்லை.....

என் குடும்பத்தினர், நாங்கள் எல்லோரும் ஒரே குடும்பத்தை சேர்ந்தவர்கள் தான்.அவர்களை நான் குடும்பத்தினர் என்று தான் அழைப்பேன்.

ok - உங்கள் குடும்பத்தினர் அனைவரும் ஒரு நாள் ஒன்றாக சேர்ந்து "unanimous" ஆக "கீர்த்திபூஷன்" என்ற பெயரை choose செய்தார்களா? Secret ballot voting முறையா? interesting! anyways, why should you have to rename yourself? what is the need?

அன்பு தான்!

உங்களை போன்றவர்கள், கூட்டத்தில் தனியாக (distinct) தெரிவதற்காக ஏதாவது செய்ய வேண்டுமா? தலப்பா அணிந்து கொள்வது, பெரிய தாடி வைத்து கொள்வது, ஒரே மாதிரி உடை அணிவது, ஒரு "appearance appeal" (கையை கொம்பு போல் செய்து காட்டி) தேவை படுகிறதா?

Appearance is not important! நான் மற்றவர்களின் பார்வைக்கு அழகாக தோன்ற வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் இல்லாததால் தான் சவரம் கூட செய்து கொள்வதில் இல்லை, அது தான் உண்மை!

(கொஞ்சம் யோசித்து விட்டு) நீங்கள் செய்யும் தொழில் வர்த்தக நோக்கம் கொண்டதா? 

(agitatedly) That was a provocative question! I will rephrase the question myself - I assume you are asking if my organisation's objective is to make money? The answer is a simple "no". And before you could ask the next question, there is economics in everything. To avail our services, one needs to pay money. Money collected in such form is used to run the organisation, for infrastructure and lot of useful economic activities. To sum up, its not a "profit oriented" organisation, but its a profit making organisation! Money is incidental to our services! I dont think i have to substantiate the CSR activities that our organisation has engaged in! And all that was possible with money only!

But the quantum of money involved is huge, we are talking about crores of followers!

So what, we are a big organisation!

What do you teach? Can you tell me briefly?

(chuckles) Assuming that you do not know - we teach techniques to lead a better and happier life! If that fits into "your" definition of a spiritual guru, yes I am a spiritual guru!

நல்ல விஷயம் தான். ஆனால் நீங்கள் "upper middle class" என்கிற vulnerable sectionஐ மட்டும் target செய்வது வியாபார யுக்தியா? 

உங்கள் கேள்வியின் உள்நோக்கம் புரியவில்லை?

I feel that the middle class in india is vulnerable and susceptible to "stress" and hence they are desperate in getting a solution to their lifestyle related disease or disorder or disability or whatever! And your organisation targets and fleece them.

I think you answered the question yourself. People who are sick go to the doctor and if you think that a perticular section of people need some service, we would cater to the need! I dont see a problem with that. I dont want to talk about the monetart part of it anymore, i think i already answered it!

I see you are "worshipped" by your followers. You are a living GOD to them. Have you failed to set their expectations right?

I see a pattern in your questioning! Are you trying to point out a maligned motive with me and our organisation?

Let me sum it up, உங்கள் பெயரை மாற்றி கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்; உங்கள் நிறுவனத்திற்கு என்றே ஒரு "distinct behaviour" இருக்கிறது - அன்பு என்று பேசும் போதெல்லாம் சொல்வது, தினம் prayer வழிமுறைகள், uniform, ஒருசெயற்கை தன்மை இருக்கிறது; ஒரு பெரிய "multi level marketing" நிறுவனம்; நீங்கள் ஜாதி மதம் சாரா நிறுவனத்தை அமைத்தல் என்ற பெயரில் ஒரு புதிய மதத்தை தொடங்கி உள்ளீர்கள், நீங்களே அதற்கு கடவுள்! உங்களை worship செய்பவர்களை நீங்கள் தடுக்கவில்லை, ஒரு விதமான "நான் கடவுள்" என்ற மிதக்க நிலையை அனுபவிக்கிறீர்கள்; உலகத்தில் அன்பை போதித்தவர்கள் எல்லாம் "simple" ஆகவே இருந்தார்கள், இருக்கிறார்கள், பணத்திற்காக "lifeskills" எதையும் விற்கவில்லை. ஆனால் உங்களை போல் உள்ளவர்களுக்கு ஒரு "pomp and glory" உள்ளது. உங்களை பார்த்து பேச வேண்டும் என்றால் மணி கணக்காக காத்திருக்க வேண்டும், அதுவும் திருப்பதி பெருமாள் போல சில நொடிகளே, உங்களிடம் "spiritual power" இருப்பதாக நம்புகிற அனைவரின் "network power" மூலமாக தான் உங்கள் நிறுவனம் நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது. "a good teacher makes himself progressively needless" - your organisation is a decade old now, why isnt there a second spiritual guru from your followers? You could not even create one? People who supposedly learn spirituality from you always need you! You have created a craving in their minds; They should constantly keep listening to you, meeting you, following you - so that you always remain as you are! You promote it in a scientific and structured way! Unfortunately, the messenger is being worshipped, the message is lost! நீங்கள் கற்பிக்கும் ஆண்மிகத்தை, தாடி வைத்து கொள்ளாமல், தலப்பா கட்டாமல், எல்லோரையும் போல் ஆடை அணிந்து கொண்டு, உங்களை யாரும் கடவுள் என போற்றாமல், காலில் விழுந்து சேவிக்காமல், ஒரு distinct behavioral pattern உருவாக்காமல், மற்றவர்களை சக மனிதனாக பார்த்து, சொல்லி கொடுக்க முடியாதா என்ன? உங்களை தேடி வரும் "vulnerable" middle class மக்களின் "stress" என்ற மனநோயை exploit செய்து கொள்கிறீர்கள் என்றே நினைக்க தோன்றுகிறது!

(சிரித்து கொண்டே) அவர்களை exploit செய்து என்ன செய்து விட்டேன்?? There are a few things that i want to tell you - சாதரணமாக சட்டை போட்டு கொண்டு,shave செய்த முகத்தோடு அர்ஜுன் என்ற பெயரோடும் நல்ல விஷயங்களை சொன்னால் கேட்பார்களா? எங்கே போய் சொல்வீர்கள்? பார்க், பீச், தெருவோரங்களிலா? ஒரு "platform" வேண்டாமா? அந்த "platform" நாங்களே create செய்தால் தவறா? Simplicity simply does not sell! இன்றைய உலகத்தில் எதை செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றாலும் marketing யுக்திகள் தேவை. கோயில்களில் பூஜை என்று poster பார்ப்பதில்லையா, பள்ளி கல்லூரிகள் - "எங்களிடம் படிங்க" என்று விளம்பரம் செய்வதில்லையா? மருத்துவமனைகள் தங்களை பற்றி புகழ் படுவதில்லையா? அதனால் அந்த நிறுவனங்கள் தவறான நிறுவங்கள் என்று எண்ணுவது சரியா. நல்ல விஷயங்களை செய்ய விளம்பர படுத்துவதில் என்ன தவறு. நல்ல நோக்கத்தோடும், யாரையும் ஏமாற்றாமல் spirituality சொல்லி கொடுக்க நான் தலப்பா கட்டினால் என்ன, தாடி வைத்து கொண்டால் என்ன, ஒரு "distinct behaviour" உருவாக்கினால் என்ன? தவறா? நம் நாட்டில் சில விஷயங்களுக்கு ஒரு "appearance appeal" தேவை (கீர்த்தி கையை கொம்பு போல் செய்து காட்டினார், அர்ஜுன் மூக்கை தொட்டு பார்த்து கொண்டார்). Distinct ஆக என்னையும், என் நிறுவனத்தை காட்டி marketing செய்து கொள்வதில் என்ன தவறு? நானும் என் நிறுவனத்தாரும் life skills training தான் செய்கிறோம். அதனால் மக்கள் பயனடைகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுக்கு stress என்ற நோயிலிருந்து விடியல் கிடைக்கிறது; அதற்க்கு அவர்கள் கொடுக்கும் விலையே பணம்; இதய நோய் வந்தால் மருத்துவர்களுக்கு நிறைய பணம் கொடுப்பதில்லையா? அந்த பணத்தின் மூலம் பல்லாயிரம் பேர்க்கு வேலை கிடைத்துள்ளது, lot of economic activities - logistics, construction, infrastructure, food and lot of people are benefitted out of it. I pay my taxes properly. உங்கள் பெயரை கொண்ட நடிகர் நடித்த படம் "gentleman" - அது எனக்கு ஒரு inspirational film! அதில் வருவது போல், கிட்டத்தட்ட ஒரு கல்வி கோவிலை கட்டி கொண்டிருக்கிறேன் - for the economically challenged! சாதாரணமான மக்கள் பெருந்தொண்டு ஆற்றி இருப்பதை நானும் அறிவேன். இன்று அது சாத்தியாமா? I have not made personal gains out of this. People in this country wants a leader! They look up at people who take up that responsibility! Most of them don’t want to lead – they prefer being lead – it could be an intelligent choice to them. There are 120 crore people waiting to be lead - so that they can happily carry on their routine lives! How many of them take up their social responsibility! Why can’t I be the leader to all of them and do good to them? The price of taking up this so called "greatness" is responsibility! My intentions are clean and i dont have to prove it; தொண்டர்கள் நிறைய இருக்கும் இந்த "fan following" நாட்டில் நான் தலைவனாக இருக்கிறேன். என்ன தவறு? நான் தொண்டர்களை create பண்ணவில்லை!

அர்ஜுன் யோசித்தான்; அவர் வாதத்தை ஒப்பு கொள்ளவும் தயக்கம்; அவர் சொல்வதில் உண்மை இருப்பது போலும் இருந்தது! என்னை போல, உங்களை போலவும்,  அவனும் யோசித்து கொண்டே அந்த பேட்டியை broadcast section மேலாளருக்கு அனுப்பினான்!

இந்த கேள்விகள் அனைத்தும் என் மண்டையில் ரொம்ப நாளாக ஓடிய கேள்விகள். பதில்கள் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக கிடைத்த பதில்கள். எல்லா கேள்விகளையும் கேட்டு விட்டேனா, எல்லா பதில்களும் முழுமையாக கிடைத்ததா என்று தெரியவில்லை! நீங்களும் கொஞ்சம் யோசிங்களேன்!
